Neck wrinkles are a normal part of aging where skin is losing elasticity. As skin in the neck area is more delicate and contains less collagen than other parts of the body, very often this area has become one of the first areas to show signs of wrinkles and sagging. Exposure to the sun with ultraviolet rays penetrate and damage the skin cells also plays a part in premature aging of the neck skin especially this is very often a neglected part of the SPF sunscreen routine. Another reason is the repeated movement of the neck like repeatedly looking down at the phone, computer etc., where deep lines are created known as ” tech neck” or “phone neck”.
